This frame was dying for a
makeover. So in my attempt to buy an espresso maker yesterday, I ended up buying card stock from Marshall's. What?! Ok, so the story is -- I had this strong urge to make cappuccino art (yup, next project in my next posts), but I was shopping on my own and the machine weighed a ton in Bloomingdales! I decided to wait for hubby to come with me the following day... As my excitement went downhill, I cheered myself up by going to my
Candy Store - Home Goods. And since my next favorite store is just downstairs, why not? Marshall's. Still in the "home section mood," I found scrapbook card stock and materials on clearance. Yey!
$2.99 for a thick pad of colorful printed paper. Score! In place of our usual weekend brunch (as hubby was not feeling well after a day of skiing), I made this sort of collage - Chicago Skyline on Printed Paper. I'll do the bean next weekend!
I loooove it! Can you get anymore artistic? :-) that frame is gonna look good on our entrance hall :-p
